Pictures after alcohol use
Hey guys, I'm starting to do the teardown of my motor. It's still sitting in the car as I don't have a way of getting it out just yet, but I have removed everything else off of it and around it. I was astonished to see the lack of carbon buildup on the insides of the runners of both manifolds (as well as the backside of the TB) that's normally indicative of a boosted car running heavy air/fuel ratios on gasoline alone. Here's a peek at the pictures.

I've also gotten a hint as to what the motor will look like inside per the one picture I was able to take of one face of the rear rotor. This motor was built in May 2004 when the rotors were cleaned to a silvery shine. It's run since. The alcohol was introduced in early August 2006 and was made into normal use around Sept/Oct time. The system only saw alcohol when under heavier loads in boost.
What do you guys think?>
