100LL and Water Injection

Just finishing off my new T04Z setup. I am contimplating where I want to go with this setup. I have been running a coolingmist H2O inj. for 2 years with no problems, but that was at 20psi and 94 octane. I now want to see what this turbo can do, and from my understanding 25+psi is where is at. C16 is an option but at $10gal I'd preffer some other sources for fuel.

If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated?

love your turbo. so will you. nice choice. everyone has there opinion re AI. here's mine.

methanol. it is magic.

i am making over 500 rw w 1100 degree F egts and no knock w two M10 nozzles. it has been easy to tune. whereas before meth i was at 90% duty cycle w 850/1600s i am now at 70% duty on pump w the meth.

there are a number of decent threads in this section, check them out.

if you have questions ask away........

good luck,

I'm looking for some added safety. I am running a 1 bar spring in my WG so I would like to be tunned for 1 bar on 94 octane, and then used 100LL with h20 for anything above that.
FYI 100LL is $3.25-4.00 gal

you are looking for "safety" and at the same time turning up the boost from 20 to 25.

i suggest you are looking for POWER. more power than 20 psi.

but you don't want to hurt your motor.

i recommend you seriously consider 100% methanol. $1.99 a gallon in wisconsin.

i will be happy to show you my logs. 525 rwhp at 59% throttle, 18 psi boost, 1100 degree F egt pre turbo, and 30 knock on a Power FC. on 93 pump w 1200 CC minute methanol.

i don't know how much lead 100LL has but i do know lead fries O2 sensors.

there are lots of ways to get to where you want to be. maybe your plan w 100LL and water will work fine. should you be of a mind to consider alternatives i offer methanol. it works for me.

DO NOT USE 100LL!!!!

I ran that stuff almost 2 years and realized that you actually loose power from it and it clogs the **** out of O2 sensors. Trust me on this. Stick with a real race gas.
