Meth injection

Meth injection
I finally installed the meth injection kit. I have a 4 gallon tank in the hatch and 1 line going into the throttle body. I was wondering if I need an additional line to vent the pressure in the tank. When I open the tank it’s very hot inside and makes a hissing noise. I’m thinking that air has to get inside it. Should I run a line from the top and out into the open? I’m running boost juice in the tank.
Another thing is I’m not sure if it’s even working correctly how can I tell? I have a cooling mist vari-cool stage 3. I will post up pictures soon.

After I installed my kit, I drove around with the nozzle sticking out of the hood up onto the windshield. Did a couple of runs to make sure it was injecting.
Also, with meth I think you need to move your nozzle further away from the throttle body.

Hey bro, please do not place you're water/meth nozzle right in front or very close to the TB. There are two big downsides to that;
Because of the fact it doesn't give enough time for the water/meth to fully atomize into the air charge, your AI won't have ample time to give you the full cooling benefits of lower your AIT's, and just as important, the mixture being injected into your intake manifold will be slightly more liquid and not flow through it like air which could lead to the "boost juice" pooling in one of the intake runners moreso than the other and give a less equal mixture across the rotors...
You want to place your ''boost/juice'' nozzle at least a full foot to 16inches in front of your throttle body for much better atomization.

congrats on joining the happy non rotor motor blowing AI team
first off, absolutely you need a tank vent. lacking a vent will eventually shut down your pump output. since you are running a non flammable mixture (Boostjuice) you could vent it inside the cabin though outside is of course recommended.
Viper GTSR is correct as to nozzle position and it is a big deal.
good luck,

the coupler works fine.
my newer setup positions my FJO injectors 1.5 inches from the IC end of the Greddy elbow. i was able to move it towards the engine a couple of inches because the injectors do a much better job of atomising the meth.

Update: My friend undid one of the caps that was attatched to the top of the tank wraped some toliet paper around the top and taped it off. Went for a spin and he said the boost shot up really fast this time and felt a lot more responsive. I guess I have to find a hose so it can vent properly now. Reason being he is driving it cause im over seas working still.
