duel injection setup questions

I am looking into getting a A/I kit and have a couple questions. I am running hot right now and want to cool the car off. I have a big FMIC and it is restricting air flow.

I was wondering besides the normal spray spot (by the greddy elbow) can you inject on the intake of the intercooler. About 1/2 the size of what is ran on the elbow. I am running about 500hp so an injector set for 500 hp on the elbow and a 200 injector on the intake side of the intercooler. Is it going to help? I dont want a big spray on there just something to cool the intake air. any help would be appreciated.

You could, but in my opinion, I would still inject it at the elbow.

Looking to inject at both places. the normal amount at the elbow and a smaller amount at the inlet of the intercooler.

rae you talking about the intake of the intercooler being the hotside where the turbo blows into it? or the inlet where air passes through it to cool the intake charge?

I want to cool the air going though the intercooler. the air passing though the intercooler is heating up the car.

i want in inject pre-intercooler also. but not a front mount. my stock top mount on my Turbo II.

but what worries me is build up in the intercooler. what size nozzle would be good, so the mist is fine enough not to build up moisture and actually turn into a puddle while traveling through the fins...

Ok it sounds like you 2 want different things. To the op it sounds like a bigger radiator is what you need. To the 2nd person , prerurbo injection worls fine without puddling. Run as much as makes you happy. Unless u want post turbo preintercooler then i have no experience

i dont want to inject per-turbo. basically i will be injecting right after the stock BOV location right before the stock intercooler.

hoping this works out. i think i might sell the m8 or use an m5 nozzle. m8 might be to much water for my stock set up.

I dont think puddling will be a problem, but too much water will make it hard for a stock ignition system to ignite the mixture
