Aquamist 2d installation

I have searched but didnt manage to find the required answer

Ok am about to install my 2d water injecton and need to know where and what colour the wires are for the injector signal.

Im guessing its taped off the ecu and/or the secondary injectors?

Purchased my system 2nd hand so all i have is schematic diagram on one a4 piece of paper.

Im sure someone will know this as quite a few members here have water/meth injection systems installed.

Ecu pinout or just the location and colours of the wires would be nice.

Very kind of ya, but i do have that already.

The bit im stuck on is where to locate the 2 wires that goto the injectors in the engine bay, are they directly connected to the injectors and would i have to splice them at the injector itself or would the ecu be better, also what colour are they.

Ok got most of it sorted, apparently i can pick up the + side of the injector (red wire on the above schematic to the injector) from any +12v switched supply.

Only one left is the -12v for the (green wire on the inj on the schematic) at the ecu.

Car is a 1992/3 FD jap import.
I know dale was looking at compleating a pinout diagramme for the same years so am wondering if he could chime in if hes compleated it.

i just did all that as i installed an FJO converter for my secondaries... the secondaries are each serviced by a switched 12 volt + wire that is black and yellow or black and white.

the signal wire to the front secondary is light green/white and the other is light green. as to where you should cut them.... you can splice them anywhere.... coming out of the ECU or under the hood.. whatever is easiest for you. it may be influenced by where the AQ component is located. i spliced mine approx 4 inches from the injector.

good luck,

hc

that's something that AQ needs to address. i do not know, although i feel it a high probability only one is needed.
