AEM MAP - Sanity check please?

Hey guys, I've been battling with the AEM / 7 for the last few weeks to get it running. The gutting thing for me is the car did run for about 2 weeks then suddenly stopped without any changes to the ECU happening. I'm not sure what's going on here!

However when the car did run it ran perfectly fine to start with then got rough as it warmed up, It Held perfect oil/coolant temperature.

I'm trying to diagnose why the car wont fire now and I am starting to believe I'm over fueling it on a massive scale! Reason why I think this is after I pulled the fuel pump connector and had a multi meter attached to read the FP voltage (6volts at crank) The car fired and ran for 10 seconds! Using only the fuel left in the lines.

I admit, I'm a rookie with the AEM and I do not expect a magic bullet or a solution but if somebody would be kind to have a look and see if this looks right, or give me suggestions where to go next?

By 'suddenly stopped,' do you mean it shut off while running, or you shut the engine off as usual but it wouldn't start the next time you tried?

Have you tried using File>>Compare to check for differences in your current calibration against an old one that ran the car?

6V while cranking sounds very low, are you sure the battery has enough power to crank the engine and run the fuel pump at the same time? This seems like a long shot, but disconnecting something that draws a lot of current (high flow fuel pump?) might free up enough battery to make the engine crank at a faster speed which tends to help the car start more easily.

The car stopped running without me touching the map (to my knowledge) and uploading backups i took didn't seem to work I think the car is flooding but I need to figure out why. And the thing starting with low pressure in the fuel lines circa 10 psi seemed odd.

I'll try fire the car with a fresh battery and some jump leads connected to another car

If you think it's flooding, save a copy of the map, then set the Initial Crank Pulse table (in the Advanced Start template) to something pretty low (0-3000us is pretty low), then set the Crank Inj Time table to zero and bump it up a few clicks at a time until the car tries to start. Once you get it to catch and try to start, then the fuel map becomes important. Don't forget the Start Extra vs Temp and Start Extra Decay tables, they are not only adjusting the fuel amount when cranking but the extra fuel will still be in effect a few seconds after the engine starts (depending on the values you've got in the Start Extra Decay table).

It might be good to double-check that the FPR vacuum line is still attached... that shouldn't change the starting (no vacuum when cranking) but would screw with the fuel at idle for sure.

Freshly charged battery and had a stab at this today gents and no joy Now got a flat battery and a starter motor that likes to click

I zero'd all Start fuel % gain's on the and used just the Crank Injector time table.

Worked my way from 700 usec all the way up to 20000uSec and the car refused to start. It stumbled a bit at 20000uSec but would not fire (yes 20k the car has 4x 850's) However i did notice when I put the batt volts into a viewable channel it dances all over even without the engine trying to crank! Is that normal with the AEM? Makes me belive I may have a ground issue, or dead battery if its not. You may be on the right lines with the draw scotty305

Just a mild followup. Car now runs! after reseating a few relays, Voltage is now stable! (didnt find out what relay was the cause though.) Turbo however shortly gave up the ghost and thats now off for rebuilding.

Aye, these things happen More annoying that the parts are having to come from the USA and with the recent air travel problems its taking a lot longer than expected.
