I just got a new issue, not sure if it is tune related or CAS/ignition related. Just recently made big adjustments to my injector dead time (it was not set at all), which resulted in me making changes to my entire map and cold start, etc... I also just played with my Transient throttle.

Problem I am having now is on a hot or warm restart, my engine kicks back and almost stalls the starter out, right after doing this, the engine starts up, while still on the same cranking cycle. When cold, I have no problems, it was -10c outside this morning and it fired up no problem and stayed running, after driving to work, it does the kickback thing right after shutting off the engine, after work, its fine. I don't notice any other runability issues. I have tried setting my cranking timing from 9 BTDC to all the way back to 0 BTDC, with no noticable difference. I also reduced my cranking map from 50% to 20%, which resulted in no kickback, or starting. I also reduced my post crank gain, all resulted in not fixing or worsening the problem. I tried adding dead time to crank values with no change.

Is my CAS going bad, and sending a bad signal when warm during crank, or something else? I noticed the problem right after playing with my transient throttles, it seemed fine after adjusting my injector dead time, but I cannot remember it working good either. I attached a log file of it cranking, starting then me shutting it off. You can see a dip in the RPM right before it starts, but the only other value on the log that changes is a slight dwell increase of 0.2ms at that time.
