Great video's. I've been thinking of giving one of these a try. The video's help with that decision. The VE staging is very interesting along with traction control.
Thanks.
Thanks.

This is pretty far out there for a plug and play ECU, but...
How would the plug and play FD ECU do running only two ID2000 injectors?
I am looking at just running injectors on the primary ports like a 1st gen turbo RX-7 as the manifold/TB I want to use doesn't have spots for injectors.
Would the two secondary injector drivers and staging outputs be available/enough for use for oil metering pump?
I don't need sequential operation either so I guess those outputs would be available for OMP as well.
I am working with a rule set that stipulates stock ECU harness, stock oil metering must be used, stock motor, stock turbos, but besides that about anything goes.
The other option is to use a stand alone with a patch harness/board...

I was torn between Megasquirt III and Rtek for both my rx-7's and after finding out Adaptronic has a plug and play ECU for our cars is excellent. I will definitely buy one for my TII. Any, buy one get second one discounted kinda deal? I am building a high C/R Turbo II for my second FC

You can hook up the flying lead harness to the trans, but it doesn't use every sensor. I would have to dig it up what is and is not used. Ludwig does offer trans connections at additional cost for a terminated harness. You will loose the dash functions with a wire in model( just like any standalone). You do wire the tach into the ecu however, but some things like oil pressure I believe are lost. I should know I have a E440D wire in on my FD, but I never drive the thing...

I don't want a bunch of dead gauges in my dash, so if I knew which ones will be out or how much work it is to have them work that info will definitely help.
A little more info that might help you. I'll be running non sequential until I can afford a new single kit, most likely from you(c'mon tax return)! in the future I'll be adding AI, higher boost etc...

There is nothing on the trans that will directly connect to the ECU. The speed sensor needs to be connected to the dash harness. The sensor is a VR sensor. The Adaptronic can't do anything with it directly. The 1st and 2nd switches I always leave disconnected. The backup light switch needs to be connected to the body harness.
