whats up guys, my friend is from lawrence mass and he went to the track in epping nh and he did 12.5 in the 1/4 mile with the vacumm boost (15 psi) breaking off while shifting in 3rd gear and a few weeks before that he did 11.9 with tires slipping ( street tires). he could off break his record if the boost vacumm didnt give him problem, he thinks he could get the car to 10's or low 11's. he is a member here( jtoyrx7) and the car is street use, daily drive, what u guys think about that. cool huh

It might be mentioned in the 6 pages here somewhere but does it have to be rotary powered? I assume thats the spirit of the list but are non-rotary 1st geners welcome??

Not sure why, but the info for my run is not accurate. The time and speed are right, but I'm stockport and ran a Edelbrock 600 at the time, untuned, not a holley.

Went down to the track today to get some runs in. My camera isn't wanting to take pictures of the timeslips very well and I have no scanner so I'll just type my best time.
R/T...0.519
60'...2.360
330'...6.679
1/8...10.349
MPH...67.53
1000'...13.441
1/4...16.090
MPH...84.43
Specs on the car. 1979 SA "S", 69K mile 12A with RB Road Race header collected and straight piped to RB power pulse muffler, RB Power pulse Air box with foam filter, 2nd Gen Direct Fire ignition with FC BUR7EQ leading plugs and BRE8EQ14 trailing plugs, emissions removed. I actually was suprised. I was hoping for high 16's and my first run was a 16.6 and it came down from there. With some new tires and a porperly running carb I'll hit 15's on stock port. I had some traction issues off the line and she spun a little in 2nd. Overall I'm very happy.

Alrighty.... I will add my numbers to the list...
This was on April 5 at Moroso Motorsports Park when Nopi was in town. I decided to go ahead and participate in the Test N Tune session.

R/T - .066
60' - 2.234
330 - 6.114
1/8 - 8.970 MPH - 83.41
1000 - 11.372
1/4 - 13.325 MPH - 116.86

This was on street tires (215/40/16) and 93 pump gas.
I am running a TII streetported motor, 70-1 turbo with a Holley blowthru setup at 15 PSI.

As you can see I need to get some traction so drag radials are in my future..

Not that it really matters but my actual mph was 137.45, not 137.00.
