Mannyvidal what i said transfers just fine my car weighs 2800 lbs and runs 10.8. Thats 600 lbs more than 2200 lbs. Subtract a tenth per 100 lbs less weight and thats 10.2 et. If things are done right and driven right 450 hp to 500 hp can make a 9 to 10 sec pass. Someone needs to be in charge of design specs. Im just pointing out a target number to let you know what can be done.

I would like to help out with this project.

I have acess to all types of machining and fabrication. I use CNC equipment daily. I have a line of feul system components as well www.cj-motorsports.com I would be willing to donate some fabrication as well as some fuel components. I can get quite abit of stuff for whole sale.

ok so to get things in order

1. $100T2 is donating his 1st gen

2. we will receive a raffle ticket for every $25 we donate in cash or parts (based on a fair market value)

3. crackheadMel can donate his manifold

4. Terrh can help us out with 13B-T parts

5. I have some 15x7 rims that I can donate (discontinued rims but i'll take the risk) and if we don't need the rims I can donate money

6.twomucboost4u can donate his 13B-REW but needs it back if we win

7.W33n can donate a Nitrous kit

8.TeddyRX2 can help us out with Fabwork.

9.oorx7 can help us out with machining and fabwork also.

We still need to figure out WHERE and HOW to send in the Money orders and Cashier's checks/ personal checks.

Pshaw: I've been here for over 4 years now and I'm sure I know who CAN and CANNOT be trusted. If you see My trust as an ***-kissing gesture then that's your bad for perceiving it that way. I KNOW you and know you well enough to **** around but I made the mistake of forgetting I had a new SN. I can apologize for NOT remembering that you can't tell who this is but I meant what I said(you WERE a jerk) and will not apologize for it. NOW that I defended myself WITHOUT insulting you we can discuss it over PMs.

This will be awesome. I agree with Lupe, if Ryan Scott posted a sticky above each forum asking for cach donations/ parts donations with a paypal/checking account money really wouldn't be an issue. With 95,000 members and if lets say 500 people donated $25 bucks, thats $12500, which would probably get a car built along with other parts and labor donations from other members/companies! Im IN!!!

see signature for details. I think this is the best way to make sure everyone is happy. I agree with PShaw aboutusing paypal for simplicity but I can also see that losing 3% or more of the little money we get is not smart. Eitherway we should have something settled by the end of the week hopefully.

Ok I wasn't going to say anything else until things started progressing witch it looks like it is. I was wondering why we can't go with paypal. Make it easy for people to give money to the fund! I know there is paypal fees but jeez most people aren't going to get up and send off a money order or a check. You guys need to realize this same reason is why mcdonalds and all fast food now accepts cc's. Convienance is the key to making money

we need someone who has build plenty of first gen drag cars to help choose/setup suspension. along with building a rigid chassi.

i think motor will be least to worry about.
this is a joke but.. i have a nissan v6 3.0 single turbo in my back yard=P ( i use to be a 300zx junky)

I say we stick with a 13b-t. i dunno if a 12a would be the best idea.
I mean we could buy an ssautochrome t4 manifold for 100$ send it to one of the machine shop guys who want to help to re-weld it into a solid manifold.
their are soooooooooooooo many more options with 13b's

MAn if it does start to happen someone needs to take pictures/video of the car's progress. I cant wait to see what we can do.

Yeah, i agree with the paypal. the 3% charge from, say, $25 is $.75. I think we will get a lot more members willing to send a quick paypal rather than writing out a check, buying stamps, and mailing it out.

Would people mind spending $26 to cover the Paypal fee. I know a lot of people in the classifieds add the fee to there payment.

Paypal would be a good place to hold the funds as well as keep track of who has donated what amount.

I'd just like to point out that with a merchant account paypal fees are as low as 10 cents per donation and I already offered to pay for the account upgrade.

Are the forum owners going to take part in this? why don't they get involved and collect the money and set up an account?, in that way people could just donate in peace without worrying someone is trying to get them. We got something going on, i say the forum owners, administratros or moderators get involve and take some charge in this. All in all the car that we will be building will be representing the whole forum whether people donate or not. So with that said i think that they should get involved...

Hey boostedte37, I just saw this on your website:

http://www.toyota3tc.com/forum/viewt...r=asc&start=60
Unofficially the toyota3tc.com vs rx7.com Pinks grudge race is no more. I will let Pertano make it official and he will get with everyone that made donations. It was becoming apparent that there is not enough forum support to warrant going through with this challenge. I talked to toyota1515 and he and I will finish our projects and challenge the roterd boys to a showdown maybe in Olando or somewhere on the east coast down the road, but for now we can get back to posting pics and selling parts......
Is this accurate? If so, man, that sucks... I was looking forward to seeing your car.
