The your "Goals" for 2010 thread ~

Yea, I kinda jumped the gun but I'm saving & working towards my one cause here in my driveway What are your goals for your FD or FC this up coming year? I want to try and finish my car this year, even though we all know it's never truly done.

Power ~ Achieve 420-450Rwhp under 19 psi.
A-spec GT35R (Eventually swap it out for a TBB 35R)
Aeromotive Fuel kit + Supporting misc stuff
Aquamist or another AI kit
Tune from ???

Cooling ~
R1 Oil coolers or maybe a custom setup.

Suspension ~
D2 Coilovers
Autoexe chassis Brace kit
Banzai Diff brace

Tranny ~
B&M SSK
TII Diff

Exterior ~
New/used Undertray
New Custom Bi-Xenon Oem retro-fit
All new LED lighting for the exterior
Seibon CF Oem Hood & Hatch
(Paint them over, Reason is for CF, hailstorms ruined my car, it won't happen again!)
New 99 tails (Mine are faded, scratched + Left leaks)
New Paint Job - just exterior.

Wheels ~
CCW or ISS - just a nice 3 piece set. No more stockers!

Interior ~
Nardi wheel... maybe
Copy Goodfella & get a black/red italian leather shiftboot
Pioneer double din

To do ~
Install my FEED Frp Sides & Aluminum handles...
Re-hook up A/c, I need a defoger!
New front relays

Do enough to get my car back on a "real" track is the main goal. To that end:

-sort out my current ignition issue (will involve inspecting & refreshing my wiring, and may involve getting a HKS Twin Power)
-install my freshly ultrasonically cleaned and painted R1 OEM dual oil coolers, new ducts, wire screens
-inspect and improve brakes (new fluid, install my EBC green stuff pads that have been sitting on my shelf for almost two years, possibly new rotors)
-replace my driver's side fener liner and "brake duct" plastic (sits underneath the oil cooler)

Oh, and replace my broken driver's side window switch

My goal is to finish 97 Type RS LHD-RHD conversion.
To do list:

Body - interior
- fitting LHD firewall etc,
- 99 spec look,
- fender rolling,
- full body respray,
- interior panel repaint in Spirit-R gray,
- interior sound insulation.

Electronics
- simplify interior wiring loom, (I won't need stock audio system wires)
- fuel pump rewire,
- batery relocation,
- Apexi Power fc
- some some lightweight high end audio

Powertrain - Brakes
- 25 row oil coolers,
- custom V-mount,
- 4-way ABS from series 8
- AI,
- custom 3" metallic cat with replacable converter.

This list scares me quite a bit, a lot of work is getting to be involved to this project. The bigest issue is that I've not seen any LHD series 7, and that some parts are different. But what started has to be done.
Hopefully will manage to finish this project sometime next summer

Something like a GT35R or 500R kit and everything that goes along with it (will get there eventually) but realistically to get my car running smooth and hassle free, then work my way up from there.

By the way are we allowed to have a thread of our own, kind of like a blog where we can update as we go? If so, in which section?

My goal is to start working on my car again. Every time I touch it, something else breaks, that takes the time and money away from the FD.

-Get my twins functioning correctly again
-Get the car re-aligned and balanced
-Get the car on the track
-Make it to DGRR

Two maybes, if time and funds allow, would be a small single and/or H2O inj.
