Is your FMIC beat up? Protection ideas

I've driven my new Greddy 3 row intercooler about 300 miles and already there is bent fins and light damage occuring.

These intercoolers are expensive and I dont want to see it ruined in 2 months.

Do you think its a good idea to put somthing over top of it to stop rocks and debris from damagin it?

you shouldnt have bent fins in 300 miles.... u live near a dirt road? how is loose gravel getting in?

mesh in the front will protect it from bigger rocks, but not the little guys.

yeah, mesh is the answer, but its ugly. Also, dont tailgate, IMO that is mostly where you get a rock kicked up.

I had mine for about 1500 miles had one bent fin and 5lbs of bugs :-)
