http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...threadid=19809

it seems this lady took her 03 cobra in to have it serviced and the tech took it for a 140 mph beating FERRIS BEULLER STYLE!...the tech then made the mistake of bragging about it on the mustang boards...

the tech got fired...the dealer refused to compensate the victim

take a look if you get a chance...just another thing for us all to look out for when we bring in the third gens.

another reason to NEVER take your baby to the dealer!!

About 5 years ago, A friend of mine took his '95 Vette in for inspection in PA. Mechanic decided to take it for a ride, hit a car and did $9,000 damage. Get this, the dealership told him he had to have it repaired using his insurance. Retained an attorney...Dealership paid.

I always, always check the miles....... In fact, my baby was in recently... I should go check the miles on the reciept.... Just to be sure.

The service advisor said the mechanic took him for a test drive... Come to think of it, I may just go in there shooting!! Never, ever again. Ever.
