I HIGHLY doubt that, I think his car is very unique but the best ever, I think not. I have only talked to Marvin maybe twice and he seems to be a really nice guy and he can do whatever he wants to do to his car, ITS HIS!! Stating opinions is one thing but being downright rude is another. He must be doing something right, he wins awards and gets magazine coverage so to each his own. There are some people that are all about the "show" and others that are all about the "go" its just the way it is however I wouldnt say his car doesnt have go, **** a stock twin turbo 7 has go, congrats on the article and trophies.

Anyways to answer your question... alot more then I should have been! Over 1 bar, and enough nitrious to make a warehouse giggle ,and this was back on my first motor and when my car was what you see below. That wasnt my best time, however, I did manage to pull one amazing pass, (dont ask how, it was too long ago to remember) but I pulled of a high 11.99, and lets just say I am not mr. consistent, and needless to say I blew my motor very soon after. But basically I told the editor most of my runs were low to high 12's. Plus being how it is now, I think my third best run of 12.71 would be appropriate. I didnt want people all over my *** for slips and everything, so I kept it modest.
Just to remind people who like to skip pages and then reply.

NPT just isn't my thing (in a really, really "not my thing" kind of way). On my list of expenditure priorities, it goes below investing, savings, living expenses, and mods. Even then, if I had that kind of money, then I would just get a better sports car.

The only thing that I congratulate him on is not his car, but rather that he accomplished what he set out to do.

Funny, people with 51 posts usually **** me off to no end... especially when they try to sound smart.

A fallacy is an erroneous belief or misleading notion, either of which is applicable when calling into question the validity of an accusation or an opinion. I'm not sure where you got the impression that the word fallacy had anything to do with logic, but perhaps going back to school wasn't such a bad idea after all...
you said it yourself, "validity of an accusation or an opinion"

validity is either invalid or valid, which leads you to the root of validity, logic

i am in class..prelaw to be exact, and that's all i've been doing for the past few months

secondly, it is a fallacy to relate the amount of posts I have to the content of my post....it's called the straw man fallacy, attempting to bring attention to a seperate issue as a result from the lack of evidence to refute the current issue

I have done a little trimming on this entire thread.

The purpose was to show that he was happy with his car, and achievements.

I understand everyone has a right to post their opinions, but please, lets start this one over.

Do not turn this into a flame thread.

Also, if I removed your post, it wasn't personal, just off topic.

Don't get me wrong, the FD is an amazing, very unique car, especially when considering price to performance. However, there are others that are I consider better, like the Z06 and the Viper (any trim), but only if money was a much smaller part of the equation (i.e. if I were filthy rich).

I least appreciate the looks of my car, in fact, I think it's cursed with good looks. I believe that if it weren't so damn attractive, then the "import scene" would pay considerably less attention to it. The appearance strikes me as something that mostly other people will enjoy, unless you gain something personal from the positive opinions of others. On the other hand, there's the acute handling and raw power that causes the leather bucket seats to firmly hug my ribs. That's just for me. I harness the beast.

But Thanks for all the copliments, suggestions, and not so nice compliments . I get each of which all the time, so I only have room for suggestions and compliments, all other negitive feedback are...... alas... forgotten . Anyways on a positive note, I going to Japan and Asia later this month, so I'm pretty excited to see if I can get any crazy new JDM stuff over there.

Actually, it's only simple stereotyping. It may be unfair to the 1-2% of people for whom a low post count does not indicate diminished mental capacity, but since it applies often enough to the other ~98%, it's safe to assume that low post count = blithering idiot until proven otherwise.
