And hey, about the guys on here who you think are either ignorant, haters, or not on your playing field of FD knowledge, they're just posting their opinions. It's a public forum, and you will get your fair share of critisizims as well as compliments. When I posted pics of my nasty bodykit, there were the supporters and the haters, and you advised me to just accept that fact. So you must do the same. Not everyone will agree with you and not everyone will see what you see, and throwing out that someone doesn't even own an FD because he doesn't like your FD is not a valid retort. He ended up telling us that he does in fact own more FD's (1 and a 1/2) than you or I. Oh yeah, and back to my original question, what the heck do you do for a living?
You didnt read my article or look at my profile I take it? I have also already answered this in the past as well.

i've been reading this thread and seeing several people hate on Crashunit's car, and just have to share my thoughts. everyone has opinions, and i'm no exception. i'm as opinionated as the next message board user, but there is a point where what goes on with someone's car should be up to them. I personally feel the speed over appearance school of thought, and my car will reflect that. i know how i would feel if i worked really hard and made a car that was just the **** in my opinion and someone talked smack on it because it didn't have enough body kit parts on it. how arrogant you are to think that your opinion of what makes a car cool should be followed by all. having said that, there are some things we can all agree are just wrong. kia's with fart cans and lighted winshield squirters are beyond a matter of taste. Crashunit's car has alot of love, work and $$ put into it. you don't have to like it, but give credit where credit is due. congratulations on the publicity, and let the haters keep (***** envy) hating

Is that the one that has the "housing" surrounding the tip that "extracts" exhaust? Absolutley brilliant design.

GOT IT ALREADY.

Hi, I'm a newbie and I KNOW i'm ignorant but I still think your car is great eventhough I would never make mine look like that. Mucho respect for you. I wish could make it up there this weekend and check it out but I have prior arrangements. Keep up the good work...I'm gonna go buy that magazine issue now!

If you post pictures of your car, then you're bound to get some critcism. You seem to be taking it as a personnal attack against you. I think that your car is over the top and I don't really like it, but I can respect all the work that you put into it.

It is. Just because this is a virtual community doesn't mean that opinions carry any less weight or that criticism stings any less. A customized car is an extension of the creativity, effort, and taste of the individual who created it. Therefore, any criticism of the car is a direct criticism of the owner.

Of course there will always be people with both positive and negative opinions. It's ridiculous to expect otherwise. But the childish ***** that have to tear on someone (calling someone's car "ghetto" is only slightly less offensive than calling their mother a $10 *****, in my book) because they have nothing of their own to show off or envy the attention someone else is receiving are out of line. No one should have to put up with that.

There's absolutely no reason to say anything further than "I really don't agree with ... but congratulations." Or perhaps "That's not exactly my taste, but I can respect..." Anything more shows a supreme lack of manners and respect, and is probably indicative of neglectful child rearing by a $10 *****...

I think that your car is over the top and I don't really like it, but I can respect all the work that you put into it.
It's obvious that you understand and mom taught you better, but others sure as hell don't. For the rest of you, there are ways to state your opinion without being a complete *** about it.

I dont have A/C, but I still have my Power steering
Did you know about the big list back in 95? Did you know why the Forum came about with Jason and JimLab smack talking about beating Vipers with Jason running 17psi?

I didn't register until Rikki started sucking up to PFS and Gordon vs. PFS came to light. I get on here to see how the neo-RX7 owners spend their money-- Truth to tell, I'll be the first to say that the Emperor is NAKED! I guess people will do anything to look different, including slapping fiberglass on their cars.

Remember those 930 Turbos race car with widebody kits? They looked great ... for about 30 secs. Now, look at them again ...They look like ****. And I don't like fiberglass caused the stuff looked like someone slapped Plaster on chicken wire.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Look at a racing Ferrari from the late 50's or early 60's. A purity of lines that remains beatiful 50 years later.

Your car is like those muscle head bodybuilders; looks great but can't do much of anything except for show--they usually pull a muscle doing ordinary stuff. So that is your style and it's fine; just that when you bait me with a post about a Civic interior, of course I'm going to look at it. And what does it show? Let's not go there: I already stated my unbiased opinion.

Anyway, this wasn't meant as a personal insult but probably came off like it intially. It's great, keep doing what you're doing ... just don't expect not to get some criticism. Some body got to pay for the import scenes right?

One other thing... all those snide remarks about my intelligence is a waste of time on me.

I'm laughing my head off with an image of one of those Jackasses guys hiding in an FD trunk wearing nothing but a jock strap and jumping out during an import show with all these pseudo gangsta lollywagging around .... That's funny small-unit. Unless I'm missing some inside joke here.

The reference to a "Civic interior" in the title of this thread came from a previous magazine article on Marvin's car where they screwed up and included a picture of a Civic interior in the article. All he meant was that they got it right this time... there was no bait involved whatsoever.

Doh!

That argument was with Brooks Weisblat, by the way. Jason and I had the "360 RWHP" go-around...
