Unhappy YAY for rebuilds....

soo yea i was all excited to get my car ready on the road and such until i received a phone call from my good friend thats helping me, saying my engine was shooting coolant out of the spark plug whole! also it was loosing psi when we hooked it up to a coolant pressure tester...so what does that mean? my coolant seals are bad which means rebuild time!!!

just need some advice as to where i can get a reasonable stage 1/street port if not just a regular rebuild for my money. of course ill also be replacing other parts while my engine is pulled.

any suggestions? im from the central Pennsylvania region.

You could always buy one of my prebuilt engines with warranty for $2750.00 SHipped and no core charge. You could probably get $800.00 or so for your core since it is just a coolant seal failure. Hopefully you havent let it sit too long.

Or you could send me your engine and have me do a rebuild, starting price is in my sig however for a little extra I will replace every seal/bearing in the engine for a better deal than you can find anywhere else, it also comes with a warranty.

What ever you do, do NOT let your engine sit for more than 3-4 weeks without turning it over by hand and pouring some Marvel Mystery Oil into the rotor housings. Coolant in the engine will eat the irons and rotors in a heartbeat.

It's in front of my house. I'll make sure to do that.

Dumping MMO into the spark plug holes is a mess. Is there an easy way to dump it into the intake?

You could rig something up and put it thru the two vacuum ports on the UIM near the turbos. Probably easier to get it in the brake vacuum line on the rear housing Not fun either way.

Actually I was thinking the same thing. If I just crank the engine with the EGI out, throttle to the floor, coolant caps open (splash!), and a hose from the UIM nipple going right into my MMO bottle, it should suck in the MMO pretty well.
