Brake Master Cylinder Questions

My master is bad and I'm looking at new ones. I'm noticing a big similarity between the FD and FC Master cylinders, almost look the same. Are they known to be interchangeable? I have a friend with FC one's and it would be pretty convenient if they worked. Thanks.

Also, is there a check valve for the booster? Or is it just straight manifold vacuum line to boost?

I have a good used one from my car. Pm me if you are looking to save some $$. Its a better option than trying to make the FC one work.
