XS-Engineering Ignition Amp Install
I have searched, maybe for the wrong stuff, but none the less, I have found nothing. Found many a thing about HKS and every other brand. I got this from a buddy, and need to know how to hook it up. Any info or links would be wonderful. Thanks.

Much appreciation, I want to get this thing in while I have the car down. If you want to, send me a pm and we'll connect to send this, or you can just post it, so that all others can see. (which may not be a bad idea)

Step 1: Find your coil harness on the driver's side of the car, which runs down by the oil filler neck and spark plug area.
Step 2: Disconnect the harness halves from each other
Step 3: Decide if you want to splice into the main car's main wiring harness or the mini coil pack harness. I'd advise splicing into the coil pack harness because it would be much easier and cheaper to replace if something goes wrong.
**Yet I'll show pics of using the factory harness**
Step 4a [if using the main harness]: Locate the fat black wire with the white stripe and cut it at decent location. Add some sort of electrical connector, like spade connectors.
Step 4b [if using the coil pack wiring harness]: Locate the fat black wire with the red stripe and cut it at decent location. Add some sort of electrical connector, like spade connectors.
Believe it or not, that was the hardest part. For the rest of the install, refer to the diagram suppiled by B&M in the instructions:
Step 6: Connect the red wire to the side of your cut harness that goes back to the ignitor.
Step 7: Attach the B&M's black wire to a grounding point on your car's chassis.
Step 8: Connect the orange wire to the side of your cut harness that leads to the coil pack.
Step 9: Find a nice spot to mount the unit - because the B&M unit is so small, there are a variety of places it can fit
Now you are done and ready to forget what ignition break-up is!!!
Other notes:
The brown wire and blue wire "loops" coming from the back of the unit do NOT need to be cut or used for rotary applications.
You can, however clip the brown wire and add in a 500 mA on/off switch. You can then run the switch to your cockpit and mount it, say, in the blank switch by your rear defroster. Doing so will simply add an easy way to troubleshoot ignition problems in the future, allowing you to easily turn on/off the B&M unit.
