XS ecu

Anyone have information on XS engineering's ECU's? Are they tuned all the same, or on a per car basis? I cant seem to find out much information on them.

I had one, bought it used, it was set for streetport, full exhaust, etc. I would guess they are set on a per car basis. I liked mine but I never had a streetport so my idle had to be adjusted via a S-afc and I always ran rich so eventually I sold it.

Do you mean the XS Eng PowerFCs? I wouldn't even waste your money. Just buy a PFC and load a map from a trusted friend or something and start tuning.

Oh well I don't know about their tuned product specifically... but last I checked, most of those chips cost almost as much as a PFC!!! And they are far, far, less powerful and flexible.

I say buy a PFC

I hear a lot of people say "works on 93-95 cars"...but i've also hear that 94-95 had the EGR on them, and if its a 93 ecu on a 94-95 car, it will throw a CEL, and vice-a-versa. If the ECU has been on a 94-95 car, and doesnt throw a code, does that mean it WILL throw a code on my 93?
