Angry wtf is going on?

Ok. I am very lost. My car runs great and all of a sudden I lose all my power. Engine, lights, everything. You guy tells me it may be my sorry excuse for an alarm, another tells me it may be my battery, which I believe wouldn't kill the engine while its running. It only seems to happen when I am going less than 10mph. If anyone thinks they have the answer, I would so greatful. Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

I'm not an RX-7 wiz yet, but it sounds like a bad alternator. Just a guess.

That sounds right, the same exact thing happend to a friend of mine, and the alternator was the culprit. Have you installed the alarm recently?

I had the exact probem you have. My negative terminal came off my battery and the car stopped dead in its tracks.

To: redrx7, chrisb130, zerobanger, goodfellafd3s, and skunks. I thank you all so much for your imput and taking the time to read, and reply to my message. I definantly don't feel so lost anymore. I'm hoping one of you guys is right. I wouldn't have the money to fix a major problem right now so hopfully one of these things is the problem.

The last thing to check if not mentioned is the Main Fuse. Its attached to the battery terminal, you will see some big *** fuses. the main fuse is 120A and I think its yellow, but its labeled main. if that blew you will lose all power just like you mentioned.

If thats what happened, you need to find out why did it blow?

The only other possibilities is the battery cable came off, the battery went bad or the alternator went bad.

Good luck.
