Wink A thousand crickets....

Does anyone else notice that when your driving with the windows down the side mirrors make a noise like a whole bounch of crickets are chirping all at once? I noticed that if i put my hand in front of the mirror it stops the noise from happening. Is the mirror loose or is it just like that?

Doesn't do it on mine, try a little dry lubricant (teflon spray).

Is just the mirror glass loose, or the whole assembly? If it's the glass, I don't know. But if it's the assembly, swivel the unit in towards the door and it will expose two screws that can be tightened. I have to tighten mine like once a month. I'm probably going to remove the whole screw and put some lock-tite on next time.
