WTF... can't remove fuel pump connector!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry for such a stupid thread, but I'm wrestling with my fuel pump harness connector and I CAN'T GET IT OFF FOR THE LIFE OF ME.

I don't know if the previous owner broke one of the clips or something but.. I don't see any clips to depress and I can't slide it off no matter how much I wiggle.

Does anyone have any advice? I feel like an idiot..

DONT PULL ON THE HARNESS!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN PULL THE WIRES OUT! this happened on a juck car that i had... Mine was the same way when i was installing the walbro (learned from the juck car) i used a flathead driver and pried against it, came right out, after that slides in and out with no problem. Guess it was gunk or something and it just got stuck.

Push in on the left side (going by the pic) of the connector and pull.

The latch is on the left side of the white connector. It can be a little hard to get it pushed in all the way. I've used a screwdriver to gently push the connector apart while using another tool to push in on the latch.

Pretty much you are going for the same setup as the stock pump... Take your old pump off, place the pump/intake filter thru the bottom of the bracket and hose clamp it in, connect all tubes, wiring, etc. Button it all up and you should be good to go..
