wrong belt size given with pulley kit ,WTF!
I ordered the air pump elimination pulley kit from petitt and WTF, they give you a 28.5" belt, like thats gonna work. 3, yes 3 other people in town, had the exact same problem. After I freaked, I riggged the car up with a 4 rib 31" belt to get the car going in the mean time(needing a 30 or 30.5 5 rib). I'm seeing post as well on here that this is happening to tons of other people and they ALL wind up going up to the local shop and buying a different belt. Again WTF!!!
First off, the car is still seq. and I'm not sure if they're figuring on yours being single and since you don't use your primary vacuum chamber you can let your alternator all the way down or what- I'd really like to know if I'm missing something on this before I go off on Petitt-

did you try and install it w/ the belt around the alt. pully then put the pully on? that does seem a little short. Try that and use a screwdriver to get it up onto the alt. stud... that may work.
