i must be a lucky charm. i ve never been in an accident before nor have anyone whose car i ve sat in, but i do have a tendency to be stopped by police when i m sitting as a passenger. spinning out and losing out of control at 120 ?? kinda like a scene from the movies, glad you guys ok. poor rx7 ....

I've actually heard of a few people who have rolled their 7's. rxplicit is one of them (I think he's mostly on the 'other' forum these days.), and jimlab's friend is another. It *is* possible to roll these cars.

And your braking problem is very strange. Does your abs work? Several times, just for fun, I get up to like 70 mph and then just slam on the brakes and let the abs do it's thing.

wow, ive got a somewhat similar story.
in tampa, doing about 60 i was driving back home on a slightly left curving road. this old geezer in the left hand turn lane pulls out into my right lane to bypass the light he was stopped at.
i knew a jeep was beside me, so i had no other option but to hit the brakes and slightly turn into him. we didnt hit, but my car did a 360 through the intersection. i caught up and followed him ready to rip his head off.
but, alas, homeboy was 60 and simply said, "oh, i didnt see you"
after all the trouble we go through to keep whats ours intact, it's always other peoples ignorance.

safe motoring, raj

I got a story too, i was on my way home with a friend driving his Trans Am going about 70when a guy in a truck pulled out from the rightheaded in the opposite direction tapped the brakes slowed down to 65 and then the first guys dumbass friend slides out with his tires locked and blocks our whole lane when we were 75 feet away. We swerved around and did 3-4 90 degree slides across both our lane and oncoming traffics the finally a 180 off the side of the road tires dug huges frickin ruts in the ground and eventually the ruts got so deep we did two flips and landed perfectly on our wheels the *** hole took off!! LOL the moron came back and flipped us off when the cop was there and he got busted for hit and run even thought we didnt hit about an hour laterwe put new wheels on sinces the old tires where ripped off the rims and drove home(got my 7 from insurance money from wreck )

Heh. We mowed down a deer with a Super Duty F250 a few years back, doing about 85Mph. Barely dented the bumper, but when we got out and looked on the road, it was nothing but Fur, Corn and Crap.

I know this area well, and there is a ton of construction being done, so dirt or gravel on the road is definitely a possibility.

any updates on the condition of your suspension?

Take care,

David
