Wow!!!!!
WOW! I just got my baby (Vintage Red '93 Mazda RX-7) and went driving all week in it. I absolutly love it! It handles like a dream, power everywhere, and it doesn't have the crude, hard ride most sports cars do. The Twin Sequential Turbo kit is also impressive, i may upgrade to a bigger single turbo later though. My bone-stock RX-7 killed lots of heavily modified Civics easily. I also ran with an '01 Corvette (base model, not ZO6) until he hit 5th then he speed off. I know once i modify my RX-7 it will be able to kill it. Best car out there for the money!!!

Dude...I just got mine a week ago...once I fixed my boost problem..dude..I was in hog heaven.
It's a kickass ride...I don't even miss my Celica.
Okay..maybe I do..it was a nice ride even though it was kinda an anemic torqueless wonder.

hmmm, im not sure if a stock fd is suppose to have that loose of a suspension, all the FD's I have driven and driven in have pretty tight suspension and are very rough (rougher then any other car I have ever driven or driven in). You might wanna get that check out. other then that, it seems like you got a beauty. post some pics

Welcome to the world of the FD - we'll help you modify it in steps so you can be safe. You may run into little problems here and there but the car is definitely worth it. Especially when you mod it, you'll be running down much faster cars - even the Z06 - but enjoy the car as it is now, then when you feel the need for speed start with a downpipe. Make sure you do a search on reliability mods to do before modding (spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc) Good luck and enjoy your new supercar!

With the TEIN Type HAs that I have on the car right now, I feel EVERY bump. Even if it is a smooth road, I would never know it, haha! Oh well...I stick like glue to the road. Have fun with it and be SAFE! You may want to read some of the crashes on this board just to get an idea of what kind of trouble these cars can get you into. (any car being driven on a public road for that matter)

WTF are you doing racing cibics
The previous owner could have put **** tires on it. An FD is supposed to feel VERY tight.
Well congrats

I don't know whats wrong with it, but the suspension is very lose and its soft. I'm taking it to a mechanic shop later today sense i dont do suspension. Maybe it has some different springs or an adjusted chamber or toe, can you adjust chamber and toe with the stock suspension on a '93 RX-7?

That's funny, i have an FD, and my friend has a 2002 Sentra Spec V. I would figure the value of both or our cars are the same (market wise). I can't wait to tell him someone sold their SpecV for an FD I believe he wants to save up and turbo it or something.
Also, i agree with teh above posts, the FD is very stiff and rigid, you can feel everything even with the 50 series factory tires.
