Would this make any sense, fuel related

I would like to upgrade my fuel pump, don't need much flow now but I will later. Just wondering if it would make any sense to upgrade it now. Mods in sig, only running 10 PSI. Can I just get one and put it straight on or will I need to change other things too since this pump will be higher flowing? Thanks for any help provided.

With the mods you already have on your car you should have done the fuel pump already. So the answer is yes, you can upgrade your pump with no ill effects

Should have already upgraded it? Why is that? What will I need other than the actual pump to do the job?

You are running the streetport along with a high flow cat and FMIC..even if you are running on 10 lbs you might get the chance of boost spiking in cold weather, it would be safer to upgrade the pump.

You don't need anything else if you buy a supra tt pump or the warlbro, just remove and replace and your done.

So it is just a remove and replace? Any write ups on how to do it?

Thanks for all the help but I don't see a write up on a fuel pump installation on that site.

could'nt look through it to give you the write-up but it is fairly simple when you get all the bolts off from the fuel pump cover, just be carefull when pulling out the fuel lines since fuel will spill out, make sure also you take the fuel filler cap off when you do this..

So do I need to let the fuel pressure off or anything? Drain any gas?

Yes, with mine all I did was remove the gas cap, and I had a full tank of gas, some fuel leaked out when we took the line's off but not that much...No you don't need to drain the gas.

Just make sure you disconnect the battery when you do it just to be safe..
