Colorado newbness here

Hey All
Im not sure where I should have posted this, sorry

My name is Mike, and I currently own a 04 Cobra w/ a few mods

Anyways, My home is almost built, and Im wanting to move to something a little cheaper than a $29k Cobra. I've been throwing around the Idea of buying a 99 cobra, 99 ss or ws6, or going with an FD. I know a bit about the LS1's and alot about the 4v mod tuning, but I just wanting to know what to expect price wise for a reliable 500 whp set up in a 93-94 RX7, who has the best prices and biggest bang for the buck.

You can probably get a reliable 500rwhp from all the cars you mentioned BESIDES from an rx7. Not many people have even made it to 500rwhp. Although it won't take near that amount of HP to beat any of those. You have to take into consideration the rx7 weighs about 2800 pounds and all of the other cars you listed are over 3000 pounds. I'm usually the one to say that these cars are reliable depending on how you take care of them, but with that kind of power, you have to really know what your doing as far as tuning and what not. Also, if you take a few minutes to search around about what you've asked you'll find alot of answers/opinions on your topic.

Edit: Heres a vid of an rx7 racing a Cobra from The_Glass_man's website. Right click and download, view with WMP. http://www.ddearborn.net/video/rx7/cobrarace.avi

Why compromise? Get the FD and install an LS1 engine.

Hey there Tuke, and welcome. All I can say is whatever you're car, you're in for a treat out here. We have some of the most outrageous car meets anywhere. Lots of fully built supra's and FD's, even a few skylines. I'd love to meet up with you and check out the cobra as well.

Anyhow I have some very exciting news for you. My friend here in boulder is selling his FD this week as he's looking at the new Elise. He really just want's a quick easy sale. It's a beautyful car in flawless condition. It only has 44,000 miles and it's already modded to give you a start on your way there. It's red with black interior and touring package. He's only looking to get $17,000 for it, It's a steal as one was recently purchased for like $24,000 because the car only had 22,000mi.

I know all of the shops in this area and can tell you exactly who to trust and where to go for specific parts or services. We can even help you find a really safe upgrade path. I'd be happy to tote you around in my FD as well to give you an idea of where you can go with it.

oh, and also... After a ride in my 350RWHP FD I think you'll think twice about wanting much more power out of these cars. It's a lot to handle as it is...
