Would anyone be interested in a 1996 FD?

Me and a friend imported some cars from Japan and we have them all fully legalized and tagged. We might be putting this FD in the Dupont Registry. How much do you think we can get?

1996 Efini Rx-7
11,000 miles
Upgraded Stereo
17 inch JDM rims
JDM exhaust

Here's some pics

I thought to bring a car state side at least 10 of them would have to be subject to crash testing like Motorex did for the skyline....

Motorex is basically pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. Any car that has a U.S spec version can be modified to comply with DOT/EPA laws. The chasis is essentially the same so minor things have to be done to bring it to compliance. Motorex is pulling one of the biggest scams in the import business. In case you didn't know the skylines they buy are from auctions where the average cost of a skyline is around 4000 dollars and up. Most have been in accidents, but they don't tell you that. Case in point, the star of Fast and the Furious purchased a skyline from them a while back and returned it 3 days later when he found extensive frame damage. And what they are doing with Skylines and other non-US equivalent vehicles is not out of the reach of the average enthusiast if they know what they are doing. There are countless Skylines , Pulsar GTI-R's in South Florida that did not go through motorex to get legalized and they are 100% street legal. There's one on ebay right now...

Question

Shin180sx,

Just curious, if it's that easy, why aren't you getting later models than '96?

Wow ... that guy selling it is a moron. He can't even list it properly as a GTS-t. If I had any Skyline, that's the one I'd want ... R32 GTS-t. Yummy RWD. And I understand the cost of importing, but GTS-ts only run $1000-3000 in good shape.

Well then...

Well, in that case, please send me an R34. I'll pay cash, half up front if you like. Oh, and my wife just said she wants one too. Black on black for both of us, with less than 3k on each please.
