Unhappy The worst has happened

yesterday i had an engine fire under the upper intake manifold i got i put out fairly quickly and the fire stayed contained to mainly under the manifold i am needing any help available and will be looking for a wiring harness and sensors the turbo precontrol sensors aren't extremeliy important being as the owner before me afro engineered a non-seq turbo setup on it and i have been fighting with that what makes this worse is i was a week away from buying a single turbo and power fc .

My mods are a 3 inch downpipe, the non-seq twin turbo, and smog pump elimination.

Any help with wiring, vacuum, fuel, and sensor systems that could have been damaged would be greatly appretiated as would any one with spare wiring harnesses and parts.

Thanks

That sounds like an ignorant racist statement to me. Keep crap like that to yourself!

The worst that could happen is that someone was driving your car, and a bunch were killed when the car was totalled. Get a clue!

It takes all kinds of people to make a world.

The fact is that this attitude comes on both sides of the fence and difference between peoples will almost always exist.

Maybe it is Karma then ?

May as well just get the PFC and single, add a new harness to the parts list as you'll be up grading your fuel system any way.

Did you have any gas smell before the fire?
What do you think caused it a leaky FPD?
Just asking because I was going to replace mine due to the age of the car.

I'd pull the intake manifold and see what all you've got damage to before you buy anything. With a PFC and single presumably you're going to remove most of the emissions stuff anyways. Aside from the injector clips and a couple other wires most of the stuff under there can be junked. I literally have NO rats nest parts left on my car. The only things left under the manifold are the air temp sensor and the four injectors. Check your oil metering lines carefully though.

It's still implying that "Blacks" can't/don't do things "right".

FYI, racial comments/terms that could be found offensive are not allowed in the forum, no matter what race you are or whatever context it's in. I know I've filtered out similar stuff in this forum that isn't said in a bad way, but it's best to leave it out completely.

Keep it for PMs and email where sender/reader are known.

Exclamation sorry

the reason i thought it might be the fpd was that i had heard rumors that they were known for engine fires and leaking will rip into the car tomorrow to find out the extent of the damage as far as the rats nest goes it doesn't really exist on my car if has a full block off plate kit to the point that someone removed the idle speed control solinoid there was a bundle of wires soldered with resistors will find out what they go to tomorrow and repost my findings

i appretiate those that offered to pass on parts that they have laying around i will get back to them after tomorrow when i find out just what was damaged

ps. I appologise to all that that comment might have offended i didn't think that mony would see it as offensive unless i had said n***er rigged but just the same i appologise for my miss apprehention.

let's face it, when it comes to cars, you really gotta wonder

just about every day I see another clapped out 70s caddy with coat hanger wire holding up the exhaust, completely shot suspension, no brake lights, a tali light out, arm lazily dangling out the window, and rap music rattling the windows

there are exceptions to everything, but some generalizations are pretty accurate, and it's a sad commentary on african americans if you ask me....

oh wait, the Escalades with incredibly gaudy "pimpin" 20 inch rims and spinners make up for all that!
