Wont boost over 5lbs in 5th gear

My car has been working really great lately until just the other day. I have done the poor mans Non Sequential and my other mods are listed in the sig. I pull 10 lbs in every gear except for 5th. Also I now have a hunting idle, like the pfc is trying to relearn the idle. I did try to resest the pfc, redo the idle but still has not got fixed yet. So is there some solenoid or sensor that is causing this porblem or is it something as simple as a boost leak. Like i said previously there is no leak in anny gear except for 5th. It just wont boost over 5lbs. Any help would be great

I spent all day yesterday hooking up new vacuum lines and checking everything over. I used the fighters pressure tester and after fixing a few minor leaks the car will hold up to 10 lbs of air and takes about a minute before it runs out. So i know i do not have any leaks. So i go out to take it for a test drive it will pull 10 lbs of boost except for fifth. It is backfiring and when it warms up goes to a hunting idle. I'm thinking it is a sensor or solenoid. The owner before me went non sequential. What solenoids are removed when going non-sequential and what other things can I check I am very confused.

it takes lots of exhaust to flow 10psi of MAP with NS twins. what rpm are you at in fifth gear...it has nothing to do with solenoids or vacuum lines. It has to do with physics.

whether I am at 3000 or at 6000 it will only go to 5 psi. like something is telling it to cut off at 5 lbs. That is why I think it os spmething else.

well you probably won't have 10psi at 3000 rpms in 5th gear. As for the 6000 rpms...you don't need to travel 150mph on public roads.

So you mean to tell me no one ever hits 10lbs in 5th gear? I use to a week ago.

no, I'm saying 6000 rpms in 5th gear isn't cool unless you're on a track...and I hit 18psi in 5th gear by 3700 or so rpms.

Sounds like your cat just got clogged.

I don't think that a clogged cat would screw him in JUST fifth gear. It would kill his spool up and boost in all gears, becasue it drastically alters the flow of the engine.

Has the RPM at which you achieve full boost in other gears changed since the time when you could only achieve 5psi in 5th gear?

Plus, look at his mods, he has dp/mp/cb/pfc, so he can't have clogged cats.
