wiring questions - body harness

so i got a few questions, mostly to confirm ideas in my head.

I'm running a complete stand alone body harness in my 93, using a Leash Electronics board Street/Strip Wiring Board

Now i do commercial electrical work, so i have that but obviously its a different beast in a car wiring. but my main question to clean up the wiring, ground bus bars. can i have, say, a bus bar in the rear, and front and run everything off that single ground? for example having my brake lights, rear signals, running lights, fuel pump and so on a single ground bus. same pertaining to the front chassis? and another for the center area for gauges, and such? obviously this will depend on the actual operation of said components wither its switch ground or power, as i haven't looked too hard into that aspect yet.

this is what im talking about when i say bus bar
Amazon.com: OutBack Terminal Bus Bar -TBB-Ground: Automotive Amazon.com: OutBack Terminal Bus Bar -TBB-Ground: Automotive
for example.

im going to be ordering a standalone engine harness also, custom to my engine swap.
