Wiring issues? Sigh....

Well i have been fighting this stupid 92 FD for a long time and have gotten no father ahead so after searching far and wide i am back here to see if anyone has had this issue and where to begin...

Issues
-Pop up headlights wont go down (Bought new button) if i push the button half way down they will pop up and down up and down but after i click it nothing.

-Dash lights, none of them work. i even went and bought a dimmer switch and this did not fix my issue. no lights work on the dash or ac dash

-Rear lights, they wont turn on when i turn my headlights on but the brake lights work. I pulled my dash and ordered a new wiring harness for the dash in hopes that maybe thats my issue?

-Back up lights, yup nothing...

Fixes i have come up with

-Burn it...

Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Do you have a multimeter/voltmeter to check where you are have power and where not to isolate the cause?

You don't have to rip apart anything yet. you have to test to see where you're getting power and where you're not.
The harness at the lights
The light switch
The fuse box
Etc.
You start at the lights and trace backwards to find the problem.

Do you have the factory service manual to troubleshoot and lookup the wiring diagrams?
