It's probably a special order item (as with 99% of all FD parts). I had to order a new one after my car shredded one. Got it for $45 from Malloy.

Which clutch kit did you get and where did you get it from? One came with my clutch kit, ACT S/S from the RX-7 Store. Unfortunately, I accidentally damaged it during the clutch install causing it to shred on the test drive.

i got the pineapple clutch disk, and was going to use my stock pressure plate, and the racing beat alum flyhweel

anyways, i see that the problem is that my wire ring is expanded too much, so i'm going to heat it up and make it smaller, and then cool it rapidly, to try and form it smaller

then it should spring onto the throw out bearing and provide the necesssary force for the pressureplate to disengage the clutch

Those things are pretty precise. If it doesn't fit exactly right, the throw-out bearing can and will pop out and you'll be calling a tow truck (just ask me).

I would order a new one and just wait for it. Better to do it right the first time.

Yea, I did. There is a dealership (very good one) just a few minutes from my house. I can only think of one thing they didn't have to order: oil filters.

If you are going to order that, you might want to order a new oil seal for the pilot bearing (if you are replacing the pilot bearing). Mine was torn up when I did my clutch/flywheel and the kits don't come with a new one.
