Wire behind the intake manifold
i have loose wire connector near the tranny oil check dip stick its a single wire i thing and i was reading some pics which gave me the idea that this is the oxygensensor connector. any ideas??? and where to connect it and what effects do i suffer if it is disconnected

It is not the O2 sensor. That is a single wire connector. The one pictured looks to be the connector for the idle speed control solenoid. The ISC is located on the backside of the UIM. So that wire would not get connected until the UIM is reinstalled. You can varify this by holding the UIM in close proximity over the engine and testing the ISC connection.

well here is an actual pic of the connector. where to connect this and what does it do its a single wire connector wire looks dark green.

The O2 sensor is on the upper portion of the downpipe (maybe 12in from the turbo manifold) and it protrudes upward out of the dp. If you are still running a stock ECU then YES it needs it to adjust aif/fuel ratio. If you are running an aftermarket stand alone (Apexi Power Commander or Haltech) then no it wont really help. It is better to install an aftermarket wideband O2 sensor further down the exhaust (approx 36in from the turbo manifold).
