windscreen scuttle trim removal ?

Hi guys, just checking because I don't want to break any plastic clips or trims. How does the scuttle cover over the wiper motor come off an FD. I got the outer two covers off to reveal screws. The other little covers don't seem to want to move? Are they pop in fasteners which I need to prize out with the cover.? Please let me know.
I don't have a manual and google turns up a blank!?
Thank you
Lee

Are you talking about the cowl cover? You must remove the small circle plastic covers that run across it(which usually get damaged), and there are screws underneath them.

Hi there, the plastic cover panel at the bottom of the windscreen that runs that runs right across and the wipers poke through it. They really have screws under those little covers. Don't seem yo want to come out. Please confirm. I hate damaging plastic trim!
Thanks

Yes, there are screws under them. I think there's about 6 that run across the cowl. A lot of times the clips break on the covers. Even being careful there's just no way around it sometimes. I think you can still buy the little covers new from Mazda.

Good luck! A thin knife blade works pretty well. Most of my covers ended up breaking -__-
