Helping out my Pop

I found this forum years ago when I was helping out my Dad with his "88 Vert. He has had a stroke, but still drives. And he loves his Mazda. I've been trying to keep his car running out here in Central Cali. I finally ran into a brick wall with this "click, click, start" issue, and now it won't even start. So, I thought I'd join the forum in hopes of getting some advice on how to keep my Dad's prized wankel on the road.

Props on helping your dad out with his rx-7 and welcome to the club, hopefully you solve the click click start issue. Good luck!

It looks like it was more of a 'grounding' issue than a 'clutch safety switch' or 'starter relay' issue. Thank you for the support.

Glad you solved the problem. I think it's pretty cool you're helping your dad with his RX-7.
