Window wont go up

I previously had a problem where the passenger window would go up about 75% of the time. Now it wont go up at all. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what did you do to fix it. I would rather not disect the whole thing if I dont have to. Thanks in advance.

Theres threads on it, so you might want to search.

I have this same problem, and according to forum members its either due to the weather strip on the outside of the window or the window track needs greasing

prob just the switch. you need to get to the motor and see if it is getting power in both positions or not.

I had the same problem (stays down about maybe 5% of the time). When mine got stuck I would get out of the car and go over and physically wiggle the window slightly back and forth while pressing the passenger switch. A little WD-40 in the window track has prevented this from happening for almost a year now .

I am going through the same problem. I bought a "new" regulator and switch and my window would not come up. I took it to a shop that specializes in electronics and they bypassed the switch. The regulator works fine so it may be a switch. (I have gone through 3 switches in 5 years, so I think I may a bigger problem with the wiring somewhere)

You never mentioned if it happens on the driver side switch, passenger side switch or both.

The drivers side switch used to bring the passenger window up and down. The passenger switch almost never worked. Now neither will bring the pass. window up. Garbage bag for now

If it were the switches could you just short the connector to see if the motor worked?
