fuel cut defencer

been having a problem with my 92' efini fd3 when accelerating hard it seems to hit what feels like a rev limiter.it has happened at various revs between 6-7500rpm.my car has a blitz nur spec r full system with de cat, apexi twin induction kits and hks blow off valve.been searching through the forums and have come to the conclusion that it could be the fuel cut kicking in due to the increased amount of air and less back pressure.does the fuel cut kick in due to high boost pressure?if so is it safe to fit a fuel cut defencer and would this solve my problem?
i have an hks boost pressure meter but not fitted yet as waiting for pod so not sure if the boost pressure is getting too high.

guess its a bad idea then...didnt think it sounded safe!would you recommend any particular ecu upgrade to sort this problem?i cant afford blowing a huge amount of money on a fully programmable ecu unless i have to.are there any companys who can upgrade the stock ecu to suit the modifications a particular car has?sort of like a stage 1 chip

power FC.

You gotta pay to play.

I have ignition breakup passed 6000RPM. The engine would die at 6500 RPM then pick right back up. Popped in a PFC and the problem went away

I had a Knightsports FCD but got rid of it as I did not like the ldea of it. If the car is fuel cutting then I would get a programmable ECU (APEXI PFC) fitted and mapped. This should sort things out. Did for me.
