Exclamation Wierd results at the dyno

I just got the car back from PFS, my mods are in my sig. What could be causing this sort of break on the top end? Also the boost is not reaching the set level. The twins where rebuilt less then 500 miles ago.

I also switched out the turbo control solenoids which did not seem to alleviate this issue, could both sets of tc solenoids have been bad?

The cut out is so regular that it looks controlled, i.e., the PFC may be doing it. Why, I don't have a clue. But it may be getting a "bad" input some where (yeah, helpful I know!)

that is a little odd, you are talking about the break between hp and torche readings right?

No I am talking about how the power and boost fluctuate.

The problem is smoothing is set to "0" on the dyno when it should be "5". That is the reason your graph looks like its breaking up. Set that to 5 and the graph would look normal. The second graph looks like there was some boost fluctuation but the boost reading on the graph looks normal.

What would be the reason that the boost doesnt reach the set value?

Do you have a boost controller? If you do then its probably not set up properly thats why your not acheiving desired boost level. If you don't and are running the stock pills, change them out for a different size.

I do not have a boost controller, I am using the stock restrictor pills just installed new ones a month or two ago. You can't run 14 psi on the stock restrictor pills?

Not without a boost controller or a different pill.

I believe you have to get the boost controller kit for the power fc for it to work. No one really uses the power fc to control boost because for a lack of a better word it sucks. Get your self a blitz or greddy boost controller. You will thank me later.
