why is it still clunking!!!

ok so i just replaced my diff bushings because i was starting to develop a clunk. i replaced them with the mazdatrix comp bushings. i installed them and now im still getting a clunk when for instance i go from 4th to 5th and let the clutch out kind of fast or when im shifting hard from 1st to 2nd. i have a new driveshaft also.

The pillowball bushings are the usual source of rear end clunking, not the differential bushings.

Don't replace stuff until you think you've found the source of the play.

Also check your PPF and motor mounts.

I've also gotten clunks from a broken baffle inside the fuel tank - every time the car jumped foward the slosh would thumb the baffle against the tank wall.
