My 94 RX-7 has a problem.

When I first start the car and drive it, The Light on the dash stating the parking park is on...comes on when I take off than later shuts off.
It tends to do it when I take off hard. Sometimes I have to turn the key off to reset it.
Anyone run acroos this problem?

 

Yeah,there are a few threads about this problem,I just had it recently..First thing you want to try is adding more brake fluid..That usually solves the problem.

 

Fill your brake fluid reservoir to the top and tighten down your e-brake handle so it doesn't have give with slight movement.

 

first try the easiest thing, check your brake fluid like everyone said. its probably pretty low, so when you accelerate hard the fluid moves to one side setting off the brake light (low level warning). if your brake fluid is that low you might want to check your brake pads and make sure you have some left. if you aren't pretty much out of pad you have leak some place

LOL, he probably just found this thread again after fixing and forgetting. At least he gave some closure. I cant tell you how many threads get started and never find closure.

I am guilty of starting one such thread...
