who's paying for this

I'm not sure if this thread should be here or not, but I would like to know who is paying the $$38,000 grand or so for this. Is it a Z06 motor at least. I'm just a little confused i'm sure i'm not the only one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...QQcmdZViewItem

And i'm not hating i'm just looking for an explanation.

Thanks,
O.H.

I thought the Z08 didn't have a LS1 it was an LS2 then when the C6 came out it's now a LS6..... im not 100% sure on the LS2 part

Yep, it's still for sale. I think people are afraid of the rotary

My wife told me last night that if it doesn't meet the reserve price, she wants me to keep it.

Hope you dont sell then..

I don't know why people are scared of Rotaries... LOL! I'm a rotorhead til death! If I blow a motor every year, I have few spares I could drop in.. But, unlike what most people think, they are pretty damn reliable.. And once you know whats going on with these triangular things, its not bad of an engine.

Also, If I wanted an LS1, I would consider Z06s (02-03)as they are about the same price as converting FDs... with modern amenities that come with Z06, I think its a better value. Friend of mine who sold the LS1 FD, ended up picking up an 02 Z06 with newer leather, overhead display, big fat tires, and more truck space

the new Z06 has a LS7, I'm pretty sure the old Z06 had the same LS2 as the new base model C6.
