emissions suck.lol
I just wish there wasnt such a rediculous set of rules with emmissions.I mean as long as your car doesnt put out pollutants and meets those requirements who cares how its done.Thats what bothers me the most about emmisions.
Im still trying to figure out the best solution for my problem right now.

Well as long as they dont have a visual inspection where you live, they'd never know if the air pump was hooked up or not. I'm due up in June so I guess I'll just buy 1 of those pumps and make a mount for it and see how it goes. If it can flow just as much air I really dont see how it wouldnt work. Just a pump, brackets, and piping to the cat. If I can find a place local that can test just to see if the car would pass I'll do that so I dont have to wait till June to get an answer.

My theory will be proven soon, but.....I took a quick disconnect from a air compressor, picked up a small half inch threaded pipe and welded it to the pipe coming off the main cat....then I'm going to hook a air hose line into that which will hook into two scuba tanks either filled to 200psi, or regulated down to about 200 psi, maybe less.....drive the car to the test station, crank on the air pass emissions...drive it back home, take that crap off, put the midpipe back on
I'll post pictures of the setup when I get a chance....I just have to figure out the regulator thing. A scuba tank holds about 3000lbs of pressure, a air compressor hose will burst waaaaaaaaaay before that so the air has to be regulated somehow....if anyone knows how much air the air pump throws out it would be helpful to me
