Sparco Seat Install
Sparco Seat Install
Does anyone have any pics or how-to material on mounting a Sparco seat? Search turns up only a couple old threads with broken links.
I would like to fit a Sparco Evo. Can I mount it on stock rails? I can fabricate some pieces if necessary, I just don't want to order up the seat(s) and discover a technical impossibility or impracticality.

So I need to get the side mounts with the Evo's, then make some plates to span between those and the rails? J
ust clarifying... I didn't know if side mounts are the only option with the Evo's.

I don't think you'll use any hardware from Sparco. I think you just need the seats and then make the adapter plates. I haven't looked at the Evo's, but that's what you do with some of the other brands of seats.
Unless the seat is too high using the stock rails with the adapter plate, you should be fine. If it's too high, I think FEED sells a lower seat rail for the FD but I believe you'll still need to fabricate adapter plates for various seats.

Damian has the evo's in his CYM track car. The original owner put them in when setting the car up. But he may be able to shed some light on what will need to be done to get them to fit. I would like to get the evos as well eventually or a Kirkey seat. Let me know if you end up gettiing them.
