That's a good question, luckily I have a fp gauge.

An added appendix to this question.... who of you who have had no issues have their pumps modded to run full voltage all the time?

Well I bent my fp relay so that it is always made up. I did that when I installed it, so far no problems.

I feel like that is a common diagnosis with steve.

Its easy to see when there's a fuel pressure guage inside the car and just watch it fall as the rpm goes up. Usually, its either fuel pump or fuel filter causing the fuel pressure drop so if the filter was changed a few months ago, the only thing left is the pump.

From Dragon: "The easiest way is to pull the relay out of the black box on top of the radiator (the fuel pump one). pop the black top off it and bend the little metal thingy so that the relay contact points stay connected all the time. Then just put the cap back on and plug it back in.. Walla 12v all the time.. if sombody want's to pop the top off and take a pic and post it I'll modify it and show you where to bend it at. "
