Hey Fellas.
Barry's turbos are going through major surgery this week. I wan't to see if stephen needs oil feed line restrictors before I start the operation. The old turbos unclipped put down 386RWHP at 15 psi on a modded car with a PFS intercooler, 1300 secondaries, fuel pump, PFC, and a mild street port. This is from what I heard, I heard a set that I did made low 430's at the wheels at 17 psi. This was a fully built car with a FMIC upgraded injectors, PFC and a street ported engine. I have yet to see a dyno sheet. Dave will get that sheet to us and we will all see what happens!!! M2 guys will be suprised when we reel em in like fish!!!! j/k. I am not trying to affend anyone lol.

Take care all.

Bryan,
Can you comment on the stock turbo shafts? Many people (including several tuners) have mentioned that the shafts are not strong enough to support bigger compressor wheels and will snap. How do you deal with this, or is it really not an issue? I'm not trying to discredit you or anyone, I'm just very interested in these turbos for my car. 400+ rwhp on a fairly stock looking engine bay would be awesome!

I would like to know the answer as well; good question Marshall.

Bryan, if someone put down 430 at 17psi on pump gas, then you have a customer. My friend Nick Haralam is already planning on sending you a set soon.

I remember Bryan talking about how important it is for balancing all the internals tediously...meaning balancing the compressor wheels, then the turbines, then both together on the shaft until they are balanced perfectly. Alot of turbo builders who upgraded 3rd gen twins had a lot of bad luck upgrading the compressor wheels because they didn't know what they were doing when it came to balancing. Bryan does all the work himself so you don't have "newly" hired guys who just learned about turbos balancing your set. I don't think he'd include a 1 year/ unlimited mileage warranty if his turbos weren't quality. Plus alot of builders will use worn or used carbon seals which will leak oil quickly. He's getting away from carbon seals and going with a new type of dynamic seal which will help prevent leaking and cause mcuh less stress on the shaft. We'll see how things turn out shortly..
