?'s about a test drive

I test drove this PEP 94' in great condition.
The initial pull on the primary turbos was great, but I just didnt feel any pull after the changeover (+4500rpm).
Maybe cuz I dont know what it should feel like.
Im eventually gonna strap a Boost Gauge to it, but is the initial pull, way stronger? Or is this another 'common' problem with cars that leak or something? It passed all my other requirements.
Its been years since I rode in an FD3 and I cant tell if I was just already moving too fast to feel the pull...
*thoughts?

The second turbo wasn't coming on. You should start feeling some power early, say 2200rpm with a pretty steady build to 4500rpm then there is a very slight dip in power for just an instant then after 4500rpm you should feel a BIG pull. On a completely stock car expect power to taper off after 6800-7200rpm pretty drastically. A car with DP, CB, etc should pull pretty good to 7200-7500rpm.

The second turbo not coming on is a common one. Diagnosing the problem can be time consuming though. It isn't a boost leak, if it was you would have less power below 4500rpm and more power above. Both turbos can overcome a boost leak easier than just one.

Yeah, there definetly wasnt a '2nd Big Pull'... So what are some common symptoms of the 2nd Turbo not working? Maybe I can help them get it running right a little faster.
