Who all is getting the STOPTECH big brake kit?

I'm going to get one pretty soon, but my wheel choice and the brake package are conflicting. So I have to decide what I'm going to do with the wheels.

I will likely be getting it once others have posted their experiences with it -- and more importantly, once my budget opens up enough to pay for a wheel/tire upgrade at the same time. I am busy on making the car better for the track in other ways right now -- dual oil coolers, racing seat and harness, etc.

Wasn't there going to be a GB organized at some point on these things? Either way, I will be ordering a set as soon as I ensure via the templates that the calipers will clear my 17" Fikses.

Kento. I ordered the kit last week without measuring my 17 x 8.5 Fikse FM10's. I am pulling the wheel off this weekend to measure, if it doesn't fit I will be cancelling my order. I will post my findings with regards to the Fikses

Cool, lemme know. Although I wonder how different the wheels (FM10 vs. the FM5, which is what I have) are, even though I'm sure the offsets are the same?

I'll be pissed off if they don't fit.

You can order them through STOPTECH's website.

http://www.stoptech.com

You can also PM J Ritt, He is a STOPTECH rep.

Here are some other site's that can order STOPTECH big brake kits....

Because STOPTECH has proven themselves over and over again in motorsports.

And the board I run (MY350Z.COM) has seen many positive results from STOPTECH kits.

And STOPTECH just seems more professional to me.

do they offer rear upgrades too cuz I like the balanced look. Is the stop techs 6 or 4 in front?

stoptechs only go up to 4 pistions. there caliper support bridge is the whole reason why it sells over ap, brembos, and etc "big brake kits". But once you get into professional racing level...it seems alcon, brembo, and ap leads the way.

Project Mu is nice, but way too rich for my blood. And I can't stand that ugly green color. Makes me want to barf.

At the time I don't think they'll offer a 4 wheel kit, since this front kit just came out. But if there is enough demand they'll R&D a 4-wheel kit for us.

There was a lot of demand for a 13" 4-wheel kit or rear upgrade for the Z33, so they went ahead and made it.

From my observations, the demand for STOPTECH kits here isn't as great, that's why this kit came out long after the car was introduced, whereas they already have kits out for the Z33 and SE3P long before.
