Could you elaborate a little on the tach problem? Is it possible to slide the cover without removing the needles??

Ok I myself don't know the problem with the NR guages.I got mine from Blackcatcustom.com and they are awsome.I got "Rx-7 Twin Turbo" printed on them just like on their website and they also let me pick the font and I on top of that got more options. They look great, perform great, and aren't that expensive for all the stuff you get with them. This is a pic straight of their site, mine are a little different.

No you cannot install without removing the needles....

The problem with the tach gauges in the design, the center of the OEM gauge goes down slightly in the center...the NR does not...That will cause the needle to drag the surface of the face... if unlucky
