Where to install Turbo Timer
Hi,
I have my greddy turbo timer with the harness and I'm not sure where to install it. I'd like to put it in the flip down storage area below the radio, however I don't know if this is possible. Where is everyone installing theirs? any pics would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Lots of people put them on top of the steering colum, but I think that's a really dumb place to put it.
The place where I put mine, I think is a really good place. I guess it's kinda hard to explain though. Below the steering column, on the right hand side, above the gas pedal, about where your knee would be, except it doesn't get in the way of your knee at all.
It really is mostly a "set it and forget it" type item. There is no reason to have it right there in your face.
some people put it in thier glove box.

you might want to save the area below the radio for a Saab DIN panel. I've got the dual pod A pillar mount with Boost and Air/Fuel gauges, but I'm definantly using that area below the radio for water temp, oil pressure, and fuel pressure. Maybe a good place would be on top of or below steering column? I don't personally have a turbo timer. I just sit in the car for 30-60 seconds depending on how I have been driving.

mine was located underneat the steering column, theres a little notch there which is the same exact size as the turbo timer- easy enough to change settings if needed, turn off w.o the timer, and out of sight and not in the way

I mounted mine on the bottom of the instrument panel on the left side of the steering column. It's out of the way of my knee, out of sight, but reachable if I ever want to adjust it.

When I had mine installed the shop put it on the steering collum with some double sided sticky foam. It is a great location to program in my book.
